The growing number of crimes against women in India is really shocking. Even after so many changes in the law system and judgements the situation is keep worsening every day. One of the most heinous crimes against women is dowry death. People just killed their wife with the help of relatives just for the sake or greed of dowry. If the crimes keep increasing like this then the word women empowerment will finish in India.
In the case of Rajbir Raju v/s State of Haryana, after hearing the petitioner the Hon\'ble Supreme Court held that the crimes against women are increasing day by day and we should protect the interest of women by give them justice. This paper also contains the brief fact of the case, arguments from both side, and judgements from all the courts including trial court, high court and the supreme court. I had also briefly explained the legal aspects and overview of the judgement.
