This paper seeks to map out the problems imposed by the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) regarding the judicial system. Artificial Intelligence is a generic term which is used to describe the ability of computers to use artificial neourons. Artificial Intelligence does not have a visual cortex and hence cannot see the feelings on the faces of humans. The judges are trained to look at facts without bias and feelings which are very much needed or required at the time of hearing of any case judgement.  The constant drumbeat from the influencers in the world of the artificial intelligence in the recent past years has been that machines will take over humans soon. In the time we are presently living in with social distancing being the norm and work from home is a great example that we can do the work by sitting at home without going office and that is due to the help of the computers or the apps or the softwares. In some areas the change will be rapid while in some will be slow, but the beginning has been made. In the context of dispensation of justice, the most relevant use of artificial intelligence would be using Natural Language Understanding, which means to teach computers to understand the feelings of humans. Digitization is the first step towards showing a leap of faith in Artificial Intelligence. The process of digitization of court records has already commenced in India and within upcoming years the entire judicial records may be digitized. In our opinion artificial intelligence can be a great tool in the hands of judges for giving a summary of law but irt cannot replace the human touch which is essential for justice to be done and seem to be have done as well. But with the changing era of time the judiciary had to move towards the computerization judgements.
